ABOUT
Suite Amazigh takes its name from the Amazigh people living in Morocco.
COMMITMENT
A nomadic gallery, Suite Amazigh started in an amazigh village named Massa, Morocco and is driven by a strong commitment to connect social impact, artistic sustainability and hospitable art mediation.
MODUS OPERANDI
With no fixed physical space, the gallery collaborates with artists whose work aligns with its values of blending creativity with community engagement and welcomes young amateurs as well as savvy collectors. It aims to foster connections between contemporary art and traditional craftsmanship, creating a platform where these practices can coexist and mutually enrich each other with the support of an international audience of collectors and friends of the gallery.
Now representing Margaux Derhy, an artist whose studio is also based in Massa, Suite Amazigh places a particular focus on supporting women artists and artisans. Through her atelier, Margaux directly finances 10 women, providing them with opportunities for professional growth and economic independence. This social commitment is central to both the gallery's ethos and its approach to promoting artistic excellence with a purpose.
2024, OUR FIRST YEAR
Suite Amazigh reaches out to its audience and has thus been present at major international art fairs, including Art Dubai in March and Menart Art Fair in September, demonstrating its dedication to expanding its global influence while remaining rooted in its mission of social change through art.
